'11 NASA MESA Summer of Innovation
225 Imperial Valley MESA students took part in a two week summer program sponsered by NASA. These students also got to visit the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center in June.
Our students got the chance to see what it was like to be in the control room, walk around in actual airplanes and build their own rockets, as well as meet with actual engineers!
A big thank you goes out to NASA, ll of the MESA staff, the advisors and most specifically Imperial Valley MESA Director Jeanette Espino. Without all of you none of this would be possible!
Our first Competition for this school year will be our Robotics Competition. These competitions will be be held on January 21st. Go to our Forms section to download the rules.
We will be having a Windmill Training coming up very soon. Make sure to contact your advisor if you are interested in doing this project! It is the last year for the windmill.
